PAIN is an industrial metal project created by Peter Tägtgren, a Swedish musician, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. If you want to hear this story from him, it would be short and straight to the point: “PAIN was just me f*cking around in the studio, and it grew into becoming a band”.
Started as a one-man project with all the vocals, instruments parts, and production made by one person… Well, it still is, but not only. It also became a prominent touring group that today consists of, apart from Peter, his son Sebastian Tägtgren (drums), Jonathan Olsson (bass), and Sebastian Svalland (guitar).
Nevertheless, a long time ago, in 1997, when the debut album of the project was released, there was nobody but Peter. By this time, he already had four successful albums with Hypocrisy – and also had some ideas that wouldn’t go with the band’s style.
That’s how the story of PAIN began – the story where 8 albums are known and loved for such smashing hits as ‘End Of The Line’, ‘Shut Your Mouth’, ‘Same Old Song’, ‘Follow Me’, ‘Coming Home’ and many more. This story also contains strong lyrics, rich arrangements, solid melodies, unflagging energy, killing live shows, and big plans for the future.

If you want to understand how Swedish metal act Bullet works, you only have to take one look at the ancient tour bus that the five musicians have been conquering the world with for years. The black, white and red 1964 Volvo B63508, lovingly referred to as the “Bullet Bus”, with its indestructible six-cylinder engine and countless miles under its frayed seats, the band’s mobile hotel. Mind you: perhaps hotel isn’t quite the operative word, (youth) hostel would be more to the point, the van’s interior having accumulated an attractive odour composed of petrol, sweat, beer and a diverse range of tobacco blends in its interior. “In the years that we’ve been travelling from show to show in our van and have visited countless festivals, our Bullet Bus has never let us down,” guitarist Hampus Klang phrases a kind of declaration of love to the vintage vehicle that features on the cover of the group’s latest album Dust To Gold for a good reason. “The Volvo has more than earned its place on the front cover, because in its own way it’s just like we are: hard as nails, resilient and full of priceless memories.”
The Bullet Bus as a synonym for a band philosophy that could hardly be more compelling. Bullet from Växjö have been on the metal scene since 2001, released five excellent studio albums to date, toured most European countries several times, opened for AC/DC in front of 55,000 people in 2009 and played some of Europe’s most prestigious festivals, such as Rock Am Ring, Graspop, Sweden Rock, Rock Hard, Keep It True, Headbangers Open Air and Wacken (twice!). The band has eaten dirt in the true sense of the word and transformed it into musical gold, as their programmatic album title hints. “Our new songs are about life on the road, about freedom, adventure and the endless fun that passionate metal bands have,” Hampus Klang explains. Their love of their lives as musicians oozes from every single note, be it the fast-paced opener ´Speed And Attack` in classic NWOBHM style, the powerful singalong anthem ´Fuel The Fire` or the cool, grooving midtempo track ´Wildfire` that AC/DC couldn’t have done better.
Apropos: “The heroes of our teenage years were AC/DC, Judas Priest, Saxon, Accept, Rose Tattoo and Motörhead,” reveals Hampus, who founded Bullet together with vocalist Hell Hofers (“the guy has a heart as big as his gut”), drummer Gustav Hjortsjö (“our red-haired Viking from the North”) and guitarist Alexander Lyrbo (“when he sees a Marshall amp his knees starts to shake and he has to turn it up to at least 11”). A new addition to the fold is bassist Gustav Hector, cousin of erstwhile band member Adam Hector and according to Hampus “our party animal and gourmet”. This line-up has come up not only with typical metal numbers like the first single release ´Ain`t Enough` but also pretty unusual compositions such as the title track. Hampus: “We’ve tried for a long time to make a song in a Heaven and Hell kind of vibe and this time we really made it. It’s turned out to be a mighty and epic anthem.”
Dust To Gold was mixed and produced from August to December 2017 at the Pama Studios in Torsås, Sweden, by Bullet and Mankan Sedenberg, who consciously used an analogue tape machine to give the recording a warm sound. Hampus is extremely happy with the result: “We spent much more time on the songwriting than we did with previous albums. The whole production took a bit longer this time but we think it was worth it. We wanted an album where every song is a great one, totally without fillers. We also worked hard to make the sound as honest and authentic as possible and it sounds a lot more like we do live.”
Which takes us to touring and consequently the Bullet Bus: Following their gig at the 2013 Wacken Open Air, German police stopped the vintage vehicle, banning the band from driving on with the words “This is no longer roadworthy!” Without hesitation, Bullet fans collected more than 2,000 euros to help the band pay the fine and have the van towed to the Danish border so they could travel on to their gig in Sweden the day after. And so Hampus Klang & Co. are on the road again with their overhauled Volvo, all ready to spread – with the help of their trusted wheels – the Dust To Gold songs to the four corners of the earth.

Gruppen bildades från duon "Robinsson Crouse and the Crouseberries" i mitten av 1980-talet. Till en början hette de "Monsieur Krysell and the Very Fast Räcerbilers". Jävlaranamma gjorde sig först och främst populära inom studentkretsar och spelade flitigt på högskolor och universitet runt om i Sverige. I början av 1990-talet spelade bandet en låt på TV-programmet Listan.
When encountering a rock’n’roll band like the 5-headed powerhouse of STRÖM, you will never be able to escape the feeling that there’s a “before” and an “after”. That’s how it works – once your ears are exposed to something that you have never heard, but at the same time so damn good, you simply start asking yourself: “How the hell is it possible that no one has done this before?”
Well, if you know your rock’n’roll encyclopedia well enough you can pretty easily map out from where this band cherry-picked their influences – such as for example The Darkness, Airbourne, AC/DC, Bon Jovi or the way that Kiss sounded in the mid-to-late 80’s. And then we still haven’t mentioned any of the fellow Swedish compatriots (such as Hardcore Superstar, Pugh Rogefeldt, Magnus Uggla, Noice), neither have we referenced any Danish counterparts (D-A-D, Pretty Maids), or Norwegian for that matter (Turbonegro et al).
Here’s the catch though: Instead of sounding like any of all of those acts in particular, STRÖM kind of sounds like all at the same time. All mixed into one giant concoction of honest, accurate, straight-forward, no-bullcrap, balls-to-the-wall, good-timin’ rock’n’roll, without ever sounding a tiny bit over-produced or fabricated. This is partly thanks to the massive production control the band has attained by recording the debut album almost entirely on their own in their hometown of Växjö, but also because they hired the much experienced and acclaimed Swedish producer Johan Forsman Löwenström (Håkan Hellström, Weeping Willows, The Soundtrack of our Lives et al) for mixing and mastering duties. The album sparkles and shines thanks to him.

LION’S SHARE is firmly committed to following their hearts and not the current musical trends when it comes to their songwriting, an attitude and approach which the group themselves find much more personally fulfilling. It is the band's hope and belief that the sincerity and the passion which they pour into their music will ultimately help them find their audience and provide the quintet with the recognition that they deserve.
After five years of silence “Under The Grey Banner” marks the glorious return of one of Sweden’s finest Metal bands. DRAGONLAND - the band centering masterminds Olof Mörck (Nightrage, Amaranthe) and Elias Holmlid – have written another chapter and continue the famous chronicles about the fantasy realm “Dragonland”, which was brought to life with the first two albums of the band - "The Battle Of The Ivory Plains" (2001) and "Holy War" (2002).
“Under The Grey Banner” was recorded at several different studios, with Jacob Hansen adding his magic touch to the mix at Hansen studios in Denmark. Twelve songs were created during the sessions and the music itself is based on a deep and emotional story, picking up where the band's second album, "Holy War", left off nine years ago.
Commented by guitarist Olof Mörck: "After 'Astronomy', we knew we needed to explore our music further not to risk becoming a band that releases music every year cast in the same mold, so the idea from the beginning was: what would it be like with a metal album based in fantasy that respects the literary genre, that actually tries to be mature and that enriches said fantasy world with inspiration from millenias of human mythology? To make a neoclassical album filled with overly bombastic clichés of steel clad warriors was out of the question — instead we explored the themes and sounds around various fantasy movies, new and old, and also countless computer RPG soundtracks to infuse the musical aspect with a genuine fantasy feel, and as previously stated, heaps and stacks of tomes on every mythological tale from Gilgamesh to the Aeneid provided a genuine and credible backdrop to the story.“
The album is genuinely a concept album in every aspect, and the band was able to collaborate with some truly gifted artists who are experts in this genre and in bringing such a world to life audio-visually. Musical actor Fred Johanson (Jesus Christ Superstar) plays the role of the antagonist and all three singers from rising newcomers AMARANTHE — Elize Ryd, Jake E and Andy Solveström — will appear in minor roles, further developing the universe, the story is set in.
Besides the visual artist from million-selling PC game "The Witcher", Damian Bajowski, provided the artwork for “Under The Grey Banner” - not only the front cover, but also additional illustrations for the various locations in the saga which can be found in the booklet.
“Under The Grey Banner” combines all the strengths of DRAGONLAND from their previous albums. Elements from different metal genres and stunning instrumentals in the vein of Hans Zimmer brought together with heavy yet bombastic songs. All that creates a fantastic world in the mind’s eye of the listener!
Prepare yourself to be engulfed in a world of enchanting fantasy and songs of swirling magic!

Destiny originally called their music Mörkrock which in Swedish means Dark Rock. When Destiny was getting more and more recognition outside of Sweden in the middle of the eighties Mörkrock was translated to Dark Metal. One should be aware that what a lot of people today call Dark Metal has nothing to do with Destiny, who actually coined the phrase way back then. However, Destiny’s original form of Dark Metal shares the lack of connection to any kind of occultism with what’s presently called Dark Metal. So no, there are no crosses turned upside down, no wily lyrical backward messages, nothing supernatural.
Dark Metal, the way Destiny always figured it, bestows on its audience a feeling, or a sensation, if you will. Dark Metal communicates a vision of a fateful, grim universe. The same kind of force that abides in the deepest parts of the oceans or the splendid halls where the mountain king ruled before the reckoning of time. The same force that mercilessly comes over us during the endless nights of winter and makes us feel petty and insignificant. It’s also more about the music than the lyrics.
To avoid any further misunderstandings of what style of music Destiny is about they will no longer call their music Dark Metal, instead Destiny will use the Swedish term “Mörk Rock” (Dark Progressive Heavy Metal) both outside of Sweden as well as in Sweden.

In the year of 2012 a couple of boys in the southern parts of Sweden understood their path in life. Despite only being 9 to 11 years old at the time, their vision was already crystal clear – the world needed to be enlightened using the universal language known as thrash metal.
They started their musical journey as The Generations Army, influenced by bands such as Exodus, Slayer and the early Metallica. After hundreds of hours spent in their rehearsal space and a couple successful live shows they joined forces with the drummer Calle in 2015 and together with Elvin (vocals/guitar), Ragnar (lead guitar) and Erland (bass) the line-up was complete. The Generations Army were ready to take on the world.
After hundreds of live shows and releasing the two studio albums ‘Still Screaming’ and ‘Voices and Visions’ the band reached a new peak in the summer of 2019, playing in front of thousands of metalheads at Sweden Rock Festival, recieving a 9 out of 10 in Sweden Rock Magazine.
High on confidence the band released the show as a live recording (Pure Swedish Kött – Live at Sweden Rock Festival) and got to work on a new album. Before anyone had time to react, the world got plunged into a crisis.
During the pandemic the band have been evaluating their past and thinking about their next step and they are finally ready to let the world know. The band is no longer, long live The Generations Army. Rest In Power – 2012-2021.
Let’s just put it this way: You ain’t seen nothing yet. Chapter 2 is now unleashed. Prepare yourself for ERADIKATED – harder, faster and meaner than anything you’ve ever seen or heard.
Entrails formed in 1990/91. Their goal was to follow the scene that Stockholm brought to light around the time with bands like Dismember, Entombed, Grave and many more that cemented the brilliant Swedish death metal sound from T. Skogsberg’s Sunlight studio. Unfortunately, all attempts to record a demo at the time did not produce satisfactory results.
In 1994, half of the line-up decided to move on and do other things, and by that time Entrails was put to rest as an official band. Jimmy Lundqvist (guitars) continued writing songs in the following years, but even that was put to rest in 1998.
In 2008, Entrails was finally resurrected. Lundqvist found some old Entrails recordings in a tape collection and decided that they deserved to be released as they should have been originally. With modern recording technology, the first two Entrails demos finally took shape. Vocal duties were eventually helmed by Jocke Svensson.
Following the demos Reborn and Human Decay, Entrails signed to the German label FDA Rekotz and released their debut album Tales From The Morgue in June 2010. The album featured songs from both demos with a sound that had similarities to all those glorious Swedish death metal albums recorded in the early 90s at the infamous Sunlight studios. All songs were newly recorded and Dan Swanö was hired for the mixing and mastering process. After the release of the debut album, Entrails welcomed Adde Mitroulis as the permanent drummer in the summer of 2010.
In September 2011, the second album The Tomb Awaits was released, featuring the rest of the songs from both demos as well as some old songs, mixed with some new material. FDA Rekotz handled the European release while Dark Descent Records released it in North America. The reviews and feedback about The Tomb Awaits were even more massive, with the album receiving perfect ratings from several magazines and blogs.
During the winter of 2011/2012, the band negotiated with several labels about a new record deal. Entrails was officially signed by Metal Blade Records in March of 2012. After playing numerous summer festivals (such as Party.San and Summer Breeze), Entrails started recording their new album in September in Lundqvist’s own studio. The recordings were finished by the end of the year and the material got sent to Dan Swanö once again for mixing and mastering. Raging Death was released in May 2013.
After the release, Pontus Samuelsson replaced Mathias Nilsson on guitars, and the band became more focused than before. Lundqvist moved his studio into the woodshed where it all began in the 90s. The new/old surrounding inspired Jimmy to write material like never before, and several songs were written during the fall of 2013. One of the new songs ended up on a 7″, Berzerk, that was released in January 2014 via Metal Blade Records. The B-side featured a cover song by Swedish Heavy Metal legends Heavy Load.
In 2014, Entrails did some shows in the UK, played festivals like Maryland Deathfest (USA) and Stonehenge (Netherlands), and then released the Resurrected From The Grave – Demo Collection, which contained the two demos from 2009 (Reborn & Human Decay). Meanwhile, in Sweden, Lundqvist worked on his studio, adding more space to record drums – and by doing so, the “Bloodshed Studio” was complete. Soon after, rehearsals and recording for the new album began. Dan Swanö mixed and mastered the album, entitled Obliteration, with a May 2015 release through Metal Blade Records.
After playing some shows in 2015, Jocke Svensson and Adde Mitroulis left the band in early 2016 on good terms, and were replaced by singer/bass player Tommy Carlsson and drummer Martin Michaelsson.
During 2016, Entrails appeared at other prestigious festivals, such as Hellfest, Dokkem and Coast Rock Open Air. These shows gave the band the confidence they needed, and they started writing their next full-length. Lundqvist started work on a new album, and in the summer, they all started to learn and prepare for the recordings, which started in December 2016 in Lundqvist’s Bloodshed Studio. Dan Swanö once again handled the mixing and mastering for the album, entitled World Inferno, which was released in June 2017 via Metal Blade Records.
After the album release Tommy and Martin had to quit the band and Markus Brorsson and Freddy Ortcheid joined Entrails to help on the live front. During 2018 Lundqvist wrote and recorded demos for next album. By the time Lundqvist digged deep and analyzed the tape collections from the past and found some good material to be used. Material that was even made before Entrails appeared first in the 90s and some more stuff that was written after Entrails were put to sleep as a band in mid-Nineties. Together with some new influences 11 songs were put together. Before everything was finished Martin and Freddy left only 10 months after they joined the band due to conflicting time schedules.
Penki and Jimmy decided to make the album anyway as planned and looked out for new guys at the same time. Thanks to social media they found a new session drummer in Brynjar Helgetund from Norway who recorded the album with them. Shortly after Markus Svensson joined the band as their new guitarist. And just a little later Arvid Borg did some tryouts and was recruited as the new guy behind the drums for the future. And while Brynjar finished the drumming for the album the band started to learn older songs to prepare for shows and to finish the recordings at home in their own Bloodshed studios. Meanwhile Marc from Art Wars media design realized the cover art and whole layout for the new album. Early May 2019 the stuff was sent to Dan Swanö for mixing and mastering duties. Dan brought back the massive wall of sound to this new opus. “Rise Of the Reaper” was set as the title and a release on October 11th is set by Metal Blade Records.
In the beginning of 2020 Entrails did some small touring with the legends Massacre and the Swedish friends in Gods Forsaken arranged by our booker Black Serpent Promotion and this was while they spoke on the radio about a deadly virus that´s spreading globally and started in China. After coming home one country after another had a lockdown so every planned show during 2020 was postponed to 2021 and a pandemic was announced worldwide. Entrails took a small break and didn’t do any rehearsals but was already talking about a follow up to Rise of the reaper and after 4 Albums with Metal Blade continue with another label and spread their wings so to speak. So, Entrails began to write songs and had em sent over to each other for learning for upcoming recordings. And in January 2021 Arvid went to their own studio Bloodshed Studio and recorded the drums over a weekend. Then new waves of virus spreading took shape during the winter and spring, so Guitars and Bass was a bit delayed. But was finally recorded in May and after that Penki came and did some vocal recording and next step could begin. As they didn’t have a label ready and signed to and could do some financing Jimmy took care of the mixing. And this is a new way to be tried outby doing their own mix and then let Dan Swanö do the mastering instead. Entrails got contacted by Hammerheart records and after a few emails a deal was signed in August. That mean that next album will be released by Hammerheart Records in spring 2022. And all booked shows from 2021 will take place 2022 instead. Plus many others.

Over the years the band released a huge amount of music, consisting in 4 full lenght albums and countless Demos, Splits and EPs, but being so prolific has never been an issue for Birdflesh as their material was, and is, always above the bar.
As they gained the status of “cult band” in the grindcore scene, the live activity took the band on the greatest stages for extreme metal, such as Obscene Extreme Festival, Maryland Deathfest, Neurotic Deathfest and many more. There is nothing in this world like Birdflesh!

AK & The Brotherhood
The year was 2015. Växjö based singer, songwriter and guitarist Alo Karlsson had the songs. Now he needed a band. The result was A.K & The Brotherhood, a constellation that, regardless who happens to be a part of it at the moment, has become the ultimate way to get his songs out, both live and on record. The group’s trademark is a tasteful and original mixture of country, rock and what is generally referred to as americana.
Alo’s personal songs and the unconstrained, organic sound soon earned them a dedicated fan base, and was manifested in 2017, when they won the Swedish Country Music Championship, where they were also awarded with the prestigious Audience Award. Their debut album, "The Outlaw Americana Sessions", was released that same year to critical and public acclaim. And now they’re back with their 2nd album, "Oh Sedona!". The material will be released in EP format, "Vol 1" through "Vol 3", on Spotify, as well as on all other download and streaming sites, and on vinyl and CD as a complete album.
Since last time, The Brotherhood has gone through several line up changes. Alo and drummer Daniel Uhlas form the basis of the band, together with the new album’s producer, multi-instrumentalist Johan Glössner.
“Johan is good in so many ways I can’t even begin to describe. The fact that he didn’t just produce the album, but also became a member of the band became a turning point, and has elevated everything. He is a real 'serve the song' kind of guy, and he knows how to give them just the right setting. He is also a really personal player and producer”, says Alo.
Every song on "Oh Sedona!" has been allowed to take the direction best for them, Alo suggests. And it’s Alo’s voice, deep, warm and convincing, full of both cockiness, doubt and sorrow, depending on what the song Is meant to project, that holds it all together.
"Arguably Good To Me" was the key track on the last album, and it’s counterpart on "Oh Sedona!" is the beautiful "For The Long Run", a heartfelt declaration of love that, without whitewashing, describes a relationship worth fighting for. And that makes it even more moving, and even more genuinely romantic than the often proposed, idyllic image portrayed in so many 'I’m in love'-songs.
"California Free Bird" is essentially a summary of the album’s mood, while "Big City Sidewalks" is a delicious duet with Sofia Loell. "Where All The Dreams Go" could, according to it’s author, possibly be pointing out a newish direction for the band.
“On the other hand, that’s what I think about every new song I write”, Alo smiles.
"Oh Sedona!" is packed with well written, to the point songs, an elegant, detailed production and, sometimes, big choruses.
“We originally had this idea to make a really raw, sparse record, but it just didn’t suit these songs. On the other hand, I’ve always had this dream to make a really thorough album, full of details and things to discover upon repeated listens, and that’s what we’ve done. I’m really happy with it”, Alo says.

CRYSTAL EYES was formed in 1992 by MIKAEL DAHL and NICLAS KARLSSON to keep the legacy of Heavy Metal set in the 80's by JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, BLACK SABBATH, ACCEPT etc.
A strong underground reputation was built during the mid 90's with 4 official demo-tapes. In 1996 CRYSTAL EYES launched their official website and supported BLIND GUARDIAN the same year. The debut album WORLD OF BLACK AND SILVER (1998) and the follow up IN SILENCE THEY MARCH (2000) were released by CLM. The records received great reviews and CRYSTAL EYES could be seen supporting bands like YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and CANDLEMASS. The 3rd album VENGEANCE DESCENDING (2003) was recorded and mixed in CRYSTAL EYES newly built own studio CRYSTAL SOUNDS, and featured guest vocals by GERD SALEWSKI (ex CHROMING ROSE) and DANIEL HEIMAN (ex LOST HORIZON). The record was released by HEAVY FIDELITY and gave CRYSTAL EYES a spot at SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL in 2003. MIKAEL DAHL who'd been the guitarist, vocalist and songwriter since the beginning felt it was time to take a step back from the microphone.
The 4th album CONFESSIONS OF THE MAKER (2005) featured DANIEL HEIMAN on vocals. That year CRYSTAL EYES was the opening act at SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL and this became the only show with DANIEL. By the end of the year a permanent singer was found in NICO ADAMSEN. Before the 5th album the band decided to take a step up in the production. DEAD CITY DREAMING (2006) was recorded at CRYSTAL SOUNDS and mixed by FREDRIK NORDSTRÖM at STUDIO FREDMAN. This co-operation was so successful that NORDSTRÖM directly was hired for the next record. The 6th album CHAINED (2008) was released by METAL HEAVEN. In 2009 NICO explained that he didn't have time to play live, and since MIKAEL was handling the vocals on rehearsals, demo-recordings and in the JUDAS PRIEST tribute band DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH it was clear that he was the right singer for CRYSTAL EYES. The 20th anniversary in 2012 was celebrated with special gigs including former members and songs from every record. With MIKAEL back on lead vocals the band recorded their 7th album KILLER, which was once again mixed at STUDIO FREDMAN and released by MASSACRE RECORDS in 2014.
In early 2015 it was clear that something was wrong and the chemistry in the band didn't work anymore, so MIKAEL and CLAES WIKANDER who were the only members featured on all CRYSTAL EYES albums felt it was time for a break. MIKAEL and CLAES continued their path of Heavy Metal in DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH, which since 2014 included the fantastic drummer HENRIK BIRGERSSON. After 2 years of convincing drumming HENRIK was invited for an audition and got the job right away. For the second guitarist the band didn't have to look far. A young band called AMNESIA had recorded a demo at CRYSTAL SOUNDS a couple of years earlier and the talented JONATAN HALLBERG had made a real impression. JONATAN was the first and only choice, and after one rehearsal in 2017 the strongest line-up in CRYSTAL EYES history was complete. After an acclaimed performance at the TRVHEIM FESTIVAL in MUNICH in late 2018 the new line-up went back to the studio to record 10 songs for the upcoming 8th album. STARBOURNE TRAVELER was released on MASSACRE RECORDS on the 6th of December 2019 and has been praised by both fans and media, including the #1 spot in the JURY in SWEDEN ROCK MAGAZINE #12 2019.

“We are The Firebombs & hope you like it, helt enkelt!”
